🪡 We're a small circle of cross-stitchers, embroiderers, and pattern hoarders who got tired of juggling spreadsheets, sticky notes, and half-labeled floss bags. So we stitched together StitchyWitchy — part digital thread vault, part fabric calculator, part cozy project journal — built by crafters, for crafters.

At StitchyWitchy: Stitch Log, your privacy isn't a policy add-on — it's woven into how the app is built. In short: we don't collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, thread inventories, or progress photos. Everything happens locally, on your own device.

1. Information We Collect
We designed StitchyWitchy to work entirely on your device, which means we do not collect, capture, or transmit any personal information. Your thread inventory, project photos, pattern notes, and stitch counts are never sent to us or to any third party. There is no sign-up, no account creation, and no personal identifiers requested at any point.

2. How We Use Information
Because we do not collect any information, we do not use, analyze, profile, or sell any data about you or your crafting habits. There are no advertising algorithms studying your floss stash and no hidden analytics quietly tallying your stitch counts. What happens in your project binder stays in your project binder.

3. Data Storage
Everything you add to StitchyWitchy — your DMC and Anchor thread catalog, fabric calculations, WIP progress photos, and pattern PDFs — is stored locally on your device's own storage. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud server, external database, or remote backup maintained by us. If you delete the app, that locally stored information is removed along with it.

4. Third-Party Services
StitchyWitchy contains no third-party analytics software development kits, no advertising networks, and no tracking pixels. We do not integrate social media plug-ins or embedded trackers that might quietly collect usage data. The app's only job is to help you organize your craft — not to monitor how you use it.

5. Data Security
Because your information never leaves your device, there is no transmission for anyone to intercept and no remote database for anyone to breach. Your thread vault and progress snapshots stay exactly where you keep your favorite embroidery hoop: close at hand, and under your control.

6. Children's Privacy
StitchyWitchy is suitable for crafters of all ages, including children, precisely because it collects no data from anyone, regardless of age. We do not knowingly gather personal information from children, and since no information is gathered from any user at all, there is nothing to inadvertently expose.

7. Your Control
You are always in full control of your stitching data. There are no accounts to manage, no passwords to reset, and no servers holding your history. If you ever wish to remove your saved patterns, thread inventory, or progress photos, simply delete individual projects within the app or uninstall StitchyWitchy entirely — either action permanently clears the associated local data.

Should our practices or features evolve, we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect those changes. Any revisions will be posted within the app, along with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page occasionally, though our core promise — no data collection — is fundamental to how StitchyWitchy is built.
